APPLYING FOR ADMISSION

The admissions procedure is based upon a free exchange of information between the applicant and the school. In cases where the applicant is applying to the school directly from high school, the applicant’s high school counselor may be consulted. Education representatives conduct a personal interview with each applicant before any decision is made regarding enrollment. During the interview, the representative will discuss the school’s programs and the applicant’s career goals.

The School Director will review each applicant file for indication of high school graduation, high school diploma, GED or transcript from an accredited post-secondary educational institution for acceptance. If the applicant is not accepted for a desired program, an alternative program may be suggested. Any applicant rejected for admission will be notified within seven working days. Any fees paid with the application will be fully refunded.

The following requirements and procedures are established by Computer Career Center for admission:

      Visit the school
Complete the entrance interview with the admission’s department
Complete the financial arrangements prior to the class start
      Sign the enrollment agreement
Sign a statement of general health if enrolling in a medical program

FINANCIAL AID

Students enrolled in diploma or degree-granting courses at Computer Career Center are encouraged to apply for financial aid. The amount of financial aid an individual student may receive is dependent upon many factors, including current legislation, the amount of funds allocated to Computer Career Center and student need according to a nationally accepted formula applied uniformly to all individuals.
Computer Career Center has various financial aid programs available to assist qualified high school graduates, recipients of a GED, or students who previously attended and received non-remedial credit from an accredited post secondary institution.

The Federal Grant Programs available to students with exceptional financial need are the Federal Pell Grant and the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG). The Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP), Federal Stafford Student Loan (FSSL) and Federal Direct Loan Program (FDLP) are available to assist needy students in meeting the cost of attaining an education at Computer Career Center.
